For Professionals

Supporting the physical postpartum recovery of those who have experienced baby loss forms an important part of care provision after a loss. The PABL Project can help you provide options for postpartum recovery in a sensitive way through the following:

Resources for postpartum recovery after baby loss

Provide women and birthing persons with advice and guidance about early postpartum recovery that is sensitive to loss. These resources are suitable for handing out prior to discharge home at the time of loss (in line with NICE Postnatal Care guidelines), but can also be provided at a later point. The resources can be downloaded for free and then printed or sent digitally.

Signposting resources for physical postpartum recovery following baby loss

The PABL Project is designed to support those who have experienced a loss with high quality, evidence-based postpartum recovery advice and options with as little triggering content as possible. Below are a number of free resources to help you gently and sensitively signpost your service users to The PABL Project.

What else The PABL Project can offer

Would you like to offer invaluable physio-led postpartum recovery options to the women that you work with? The PABL Project has two options available:

Voucher Packs for the Online Postpartum Recovery Programme

Purchase packs of single-user vouchers for the Postpartum Recovery Programme, which can then be given to your service users to work through independently at home. These are available at a discounted rate of 5 voucher codes with a 5% discount and 10 voucher codes with a 10% discount rate.

Online Physiotherapist-Led Postpartum Recovery Classes

Provide up to 10 service users with a block of online physiotherapist-led classes with The PABL Project. Benefits include time for online peer support plus physiotherapy input for specialist and individual advice on physical postpartum issues and recovery. Different rates available for charitable organisations.
