Pilates After Baby Loss Classes

Join us for physiotherapist-led Postpartum Pilates with valuable peer support in a safe and supportive space.

The Pilates after Baby Loss classes are run at The Alder Centre in Liverpool. These classes are suitable for anyone who has experienced stillbirth, early infant death, late second trimester loss and TFMR within the last 12 months.

The classes run in blocks of six sessions and are funded by The Alder Centre so are free to attend. The classes focus on postpartum physical recovery plus emotional reconnection with your body and are trauma-informed and loss sensitive. An essential part of the classes is the time given to peer support over tea, coffee and cake after the session!

There are six blocks of classes run throughout the year.

Do you need some extra support?

If you are experiencing any specific postpartum issues or are struggling with your recovery, you may wish to book a one-to-one Postpartum after Baby Loss assessment for some bespoke advice and guidance prior to, or in addition to, attending the group classes.
